Research Topics:

  • I am currently exploring the relationships between physical (in) activity and clinical biochemistry of metabolic syndrome with the aim to develop and validate a technique of cardiorespiratory fitness testing applicable in routine outpatient setting. On long-term basis I am involved in experimental studies of metabolic effects of selected phytochemicals. I also have recently been focused on microdialysis sensing.
  • clinical and experimental biochemistry, cardiorespiratory fitness, phytochemicals, gut, microdialysis, animal models
